I worked with your dad at Whirlpool and made his and Naomi's wedding cake. Bob was a wonderful man. He always made me feel like I was I was special. I was in my 20's with two very young children at the time when I trained him for his position at Whirlpool. He could always cheer me up, he always asked about my daughters, and he took every day in stride. He talked about his family incessantly and took great joy and pride in all of his kids and your mom, too. It was amazing to me after leaving Whirlpool and several years had passed that he remembered who I was and that I did cakes. When he asked if I would do his wedding cake, I was astounded. That was probably one of the very best compliments that I ever received. I will miss your dad. He was a just, dedicated, gracious man.
