OWEN, Sarah Hobbs, passed away peacefully April 16, 2014 at St Josephs Hospital North. She was a native of Florida, born in Jackson-ville, and had lived most of her life in the Tampa Bay area. She was a long time member of Beta Sigma Phi, a tireless Volunteer at St. Joseph's Hospital, and a faithful member of the Keystone United Methodist Church. She is survived by 4 children: daughter Margaret St, John and husband Simon of Blue Ridge Georgia; son Thomas B. Owen and wife Maria Lina Diaz of Ft. Lauderdale; son Gary S. Owen and wife Pamela; son Robert Bruce Owen and wife Beth of Odessa. 7 Grandchildren: Ryan St. John, Erin St. John Flynn, Sarah Owen Hanold, Christy Owen, Ricky Harrell, Chelci Owen, and Bailey Owen 7 Great Grandchildren In addition, she is survived by 2 brothers: Henry Hobbs, Port Chester NY, and James Hobbs, Lincoln CA. As well as being a loving Mother, she loved her garden, her butterflies, and her Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Keystone United Methodist Church, 16301 Race Track Road, Odessa Florida 33556 on Wednesday, April 23rd at 3PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Keystone United Methodist Church.
