Violeta Cayabyab Armas

Violeta Cayabyab Armas was born on May 8, 1952 in Pangasinan, Philippines. She was number 6 out of 16 children. Vicky was married to her soulmate Alfredo Sr. for over 30 years. After she completed her education, she moved to America with her siblings by the help and support of their eldest sister. After living in America for a few years, she became a beloved mother to her 4 children, Annaliza, Alma, Alredo Jr, and Alvin. Later in time, she became a loving grandmother to Ulysses and Dakari Janaiya. Vicky was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Vicky enjoyed cooking, gardening, and extending her hospitality to everyone. She always welcomed everyone in her home and treated them like family. She was a hard worker who always put others before herself. She always stressed the importance of working hard and working for what you love. Since her kids were young, she instilled faith and demonstrated strength, courage, and generosity. There was a never a dull moment when she would have nothing to say. Vicky fought cancer till the very end. Vicky would not have wanted us to mourn her passing but to celebrate her life and know she is free of pain and at peace. The family extends their sincerest gratitude to their closest family and friends who have reached out for emotional and spiritual support.
