Barbara Jane Gresham Harris

Harris, Barbara Jane Gresham, age 77, of Taylor passed away on October 22, 2015. She was born on July 19, 1938 in Caldwell County, KY to William Young and Hattie Pauline Bennett Gresham who preceded her in death. Beloved mother of Jeffrey R. and James Y. (Sophia). Proud grandmother of Sarah E. and step-grandmother of Sam L. Khaleghi. Also survived by her brother Raleigh G. (Liz) Gresham of Hudson, FL as well as four nieces, four nephews and other loving family and friends. The family would like to acknowledge Donna (Rich) Mikonczyk, Hassan Arghavani, Kimberly D. Harris, Michael (Vicki) Gresham, Michele (Al) Lepore, Monica (Randy) Nichols, Patti (Paul) Johnson, Robert (Tina) Perussee, Ronald (Karen) Gresham, Shelley (Bob) Perussee, and Zahra Arghavani for their loving support. Barbara worked as an executive secretary for the Detroit Board of Education for thirty seven years. Visitation will be Sunday 3 – 9 pm with a Rosary Sunday Evening both at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). Barbara will lie in state on Monday from 11:30 am at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, 6442 Pelham Road, Taylor until Funeral Liturgy at 12 pm. Entombment Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery.
