Martha E. Ladwig, 88, of Mentor, died Monday November 16, 2015 at Salida Woods Assisted Living in Mentor. She was born May 27, 1927 in Willoughby.

Mrs. Ladwig was a homemaker. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family. She was a longtime active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She loved to travel, especially to the Oregon Coast with her family. As one of the few remaining Mentor High School Class of 45 grads, she attended all their reunions as long as she could. She was especially good at sending cards to family and friends on all their special occasions.

Survivors include her children Polly (Terry) McGraw, Tom (Debra) Ladwig and Gretchen (David) Silbaugh; 8 grandchildren Molly (Ryan) Malone, Milo (Krystal) McGraw, Keith McGraw, Jaime Ladwig, Jennifer (Michael) Marston, Jason (Tiffani) Shepherd, Sarah and Brett Silbaugh; 12 great grandchildren.

Preceding Martha in death is her husband Raymond Ladwig and her son Roy Ladwig.

A Memorial Service will be 4 pm Wednesday November 18, 2015 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 7643 Lakeshore Blvd, Mentor, OH. 44060.

The family will receive friends 2-4 pm Wednesday at the church.

Inurnment will be in Mentor Cemetery, Mentor.

So sorry to hear about Aunt Martha's passing. She was a very sweet lady but I'm thankful she and my mom, Phyllis, will be rejoining in heaven together with Ray and Gilbert too! love, cousin Barb Marshall

Gretchen and Ladwig family

I'm so sorry for your double loss. The service yesterday was beautiful. So glad I was able to attend. Martha and I had lots of talks as I drove her to our "lunch bunch" luncheons. My only regret is I did not visit her more often.

I am so sad to hear of Marthas passing , I work at Salida Woods as a driver and in the kitchen we had many of talks and she will always have a special place in my heart and will be deeply missed and tonight as I left for work ..I must say It really felt odd being I always said good -night I am just so glad that I saw her Sunday night and I said good night Martha I love you,my thought are with you all during this hard time.Sweet dreams Martha
