Wanda Royal Obituary
Wanda M. Royal, 79, of 703 Shelborn Dr., Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2005, in Owensboro. She was born in Lee Co., Ky. and was a retired secretary with Prudential Life Insurance Co for 15 years. She was a member of Buena Vista Baptist Church, enjoyed gardening, camping, Nascar racing, U. K. basketball, was a Ky. Colonel, and loved her beagles & Jack Russell dogs. She was preceded in death by her husband, William T. "Dub" Royal on Oct. 31, 2000, and a daughter, Cheryl Lynette Royal on Jan. 17, 1964.
Surviving are two sons, Kerry & his wife, Barbara Royal of Summerville, S. C. and William "Billy" Royal, Jr. of Nicholasville, Ky., two sisters, Ila Gorman of Owensboro, and Clara Durbin of Monroe, Mi., eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 P.M. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Owensboro, 723 Harvard Dr., Owensboro, Ky. 42301.
