Patricia Elaine Wright

Mrs. Patricia Elaine Wright, age 70 of Lawndale, passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Horace Lee Wright of the home, four children, Pam Howell and husband Ernie of Lawndale, NC, Michelle Whaley and husband DJ of Lawndale, NC, Van Douglas Wright and wife Ann of Shelby, NC, and Jamie Perry of Lawndale, NC, five grandchildren, Noah Howell, Joseph Whaley, Cole Whaley, Caiden Perry and Hunter Perry, and a sister, Brenda Jolly of Greenwood, SC. Born December 19, 1944 in Gaffney, SC, Mrs. Wright was the daughter of the late Clifford Eugene Grubb, Sr. and Alberta Hallman Grubb and was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford Eugene Grubb, Jr. and a sister, Judy Welch. Mrs. Wright was a faithful member of Wallace Grove Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by those that knew her. A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Wallace Grove Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Mike Hyder, Rev. Tommy Cooke, and Rev. Eddie Gray.
