Lloyd C. Koehler

Lloyd C. Koehler, age 63, of Chilton, died unexpectedly on Monday January 21, 2013 at his home in the town of Charlestown. He was born on April 8, 1949 in Fond du Lac, to Robert & Darlene (Schmidt) Koehler. On April 19, 1969 he married Susan Bittner at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton. He farmed in the Town of Charlestown, and was a mechanic for Veolia Co. in Chilton. Lloyd enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandsons, especially watching Brad Race and Lee hunt. He was a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ in Chilton. Survivors include his wife, Susie of Chilton; a daughter Jill Koehler of Chilton; 2 grandsons, Bradley Clayton Juckem & special friend Megan, Lee Arthur Koehler; a sister Barbara Steudel of Appleton, 2 brothers, Larry (Sue) Koehler of Chilton, Robert Jr. (Lisa) Koehler of Chilton; and a close friend Jeff. He was preceded in death by a sister Sandy Koehler. Memorial services will be at 8 PM on Saturday January 26, 2013 at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton, with the Rev. Kathy Rust officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sat. from 4 PM until the time of services.
