Paul Gus Toney

Paul Gus Toney, 80, of Gastonia, passed away January 8, 2016 at Robin Johnson House, Dallas. He was born on December 5, 1935 in Rutherford County, to the late Nelson and Gussy Harrison Toney. He was survived by his children, Rhonda Toney Strawser and husband John of Waxhaw, Todd Mitchell Toney and wife Shelton, Georgia Denise Toney Welch and husband Richard, Tracie Michelle Toney Flemming and husband Doug all of Bessemer City, brothers, Don Toney, Roy Lee Toney, Roger Dale Toney; sisters, Carol Toney Taylor, Faithel Toney DuBois; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Paula Gail Toney. His memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services, Bessemer City.
