Uncle Paul...that smile!!! And that laugh!!!! Pure light...you always have been, you always will be. To those family members (especially Aunt Joyce, Paul, Jr., and Patrick) and friends who he left behind, I'm so sorry for your loss!

Pappaw used to call me Paul about half the time and then correct himself with his "what's that boys name?" comment before getting my name right. I always considered it a complement and an honor that he did that. Paul Jr.; Carry your name with pride cousin...you're named after one of the kindest, most gentle men I have ever had the privilege of knowing.
Until we meet again Uncle Paul.

Sweet Uncle Paul, your words of wisdom stayed with me for over 30 years and encouraged me to not give in to the devastation my incident could have very easily caused me. Your words are forever etched in my memory and I will be eternally grateful. Go and kiss your parents, your brother and your two beautiful nieces in heaven. Thank you for being there for my Daddy this past year. I love you Uncle Paul.
