Born in Auburn, ME on August 19, 1920, she was the daughter of Emile and Regina (Jalbert) Aube. She lived in Eastport, ME and Saugerties, NY many years.
Mrs. Pratt worked as an accountant for the Department of the Navy during World War II. She later worked as a seamstress in Eastport, ME and as a sales clerk in a fabric store in Kingston, NY.
She enjoyed sewing, painting, bowling and playing the piano. In Eastport, she was a church organist and was a member of the Literary Roundtable.
She was married to Norman D. Pratt who died in 1992.
IN HER LIFE: The family includes two children, Mary Burke of Manchester and Dennis Pratt of Florida; two grandchildren, Sean Burke and Colleen Burke; a brother, Emile Aube of Old Orchard Beach, ME; a cousin, and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday, October 2, 2009 at St. Joseph Cathedral, corner of Pine and Lowell streets, Manchester. A committal service was held Monday, October 5, 2009 at St. Peter's Cemetery, Switzerland Rd., Lewiston, ME.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 249 Canal St., Manchester, NH 03101
Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
