David Leverne Ralph

David Leverne Ralph, 71, of Maceo, passed away Thursday, Feburary 4, 2016. David was born October 8th, 1944 in Owensboro. David was employed for Brite-Way Sign Company throughout the late 70's and Early 80's. He then owned and operated his own remodeling company for many years before retirement. David attended Blessed Mother Catholic Church and enjoyed watching television, playing chess, camping and hiking, drawing, and Elvis. Most of all, he loved spending time with family. David was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Bedford Ralph and Ruth Colburn Ralph Tackett; his step-father, who raised him, Robert Tackett; and a brother, Randall Zook in 1997. David is survived by his wife of 37 years, Brenda Sherron Ralph; daughters, Jessie Ralph and her boyfriend, David Embry of Maceo, Leslie Ralph Brabham and her husband, Lance of Palm City, FL, Davida Warrenfeltz and her husband, Paul of Owensboro, Leola Lilly of Herrin, IL and Theresa Hall of Owensboro; sons, Johnny Ralph of Gulfport, MS, and Bob Ralph and his wife, Julia of San Antonio, TX. grandchildren; Brandi, Scott, Brittany, Jordan, Tyler, Zander, Oliver, Tabitha, Michael, Heather, Paul, Jr, Dylan, Blake, Amber, and Brandon; great-grandchildren; Alexis, Evan, Leah, Diesel, Kadence, Anthony, Alisha, Rayden, Briana, Leland, Bianca, Taylor, Ryleigh, Olivia, and Aron; aunt; Carol Colburn of Owensboro; sister-in-law, Nelley Zook; nieces; Laura Barfield and Angie Ladd; a nephew, Jeff Zook; and special cousins, Cathy Colburn and Nancy Spencer. The service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 7th at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be at a later date at Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and after noon on Sunday at the funeral home.
