Rick Lannoch Obituary

Published by Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center on Mar. 3, 2016.
Rick A. Lannoch, 58, of Willoughby died unexpectedly March 3, 2016 at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Twp. He was born November 30, 1957 in Cleveland.

Rick was a boat builder and Design Engineer at Tartan-C&C Yachts in Fairport Harbor for many years. Before that, he was co-owner of Lannoch & Murray in Painesville. Sailing and racing his white GTI were great joys of Rick's life, and many came to know him best on the water or at the track. We will all miss his open-heartedness and, above all, his infectious and distinctive laugh.

Surviving Rick are his wife, Martha; daughter, Alexandra; brothers, Don (Mary Ann) Lannoch and Steve (Joan) Lannoch; and nieces and nephews Kim (Yuri) Linetsky, Jason (Jen) Lannoch, Michael Lannoch, and Lindsay Lannoch. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Phyllis Jean Lannoch.

A celebration of Rick's life will be held 4-8 p.m. Thursday March 10, 2016 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.

In lieu of flowers, please honor Rick's memory by donating in his name to a worthy cause of your choice.

I have two sisters and three brothers. I know we will all experience this great loss of a brother, an uncle, a father or a son someday. That does not make it any easier!
