Even though I had not seen Gene in over 40 plus years I still find it hard to think of him as gone. I was 15 and in the 9th grade and he was a senior in high-school in 1968, when I first met Gene at Newberry's department store in Waynesboro. We dated off and on for 3 years and then in the summer of 1971 we went our separate ways. From looking at the video tribute you,he and your families had a wonderful life and made many memories together. Gene has gone on to be with his Heavenly Father but the memories will live on and no one can take those memories from us.I pray that God will continue to watch over, comfort and protect those left behind. With deepest sympathies, Karen Collins Tusing.
