I am sadden by the loss of my mentor John McDevitt. I am one of his students at the Geology Study at the Irish Immigration Center John and I had much in common, PRT,early childhood memories love of Ireland and family. I will remember him and family always. A true gentleman of Ireland, devoted Father and friend. God Bless Elizabeth and Johns family.

I am so sorry to just hear about Mr. McDevitt's passing. I just saw him at my mother's wedding last summer, and had a nice time catching up. I think he always liked the fact that I remember him so fondly as my Parvuli Dei counselor in Cub Scouts. Rest in peace.
