Mr Charles Michael Creamer

Charles Michael �Mike� Creamer of South Charleston, passed from this life January 3, 2007. He was born on July 23, 1939, in Huntington, WV, the son of the late Francis Charles �Mickey� and Mildred Williams Creamer. Mike attended St. Francis elementary school, was a graduate of Charleston Catholic High School Class of 1957 and Marshall University. He enjoyed his basketball career at CCHS and was a member of the championship team of 1955. He was a small business owner, creating several successful enterprises. His business life took him through West Virginia, and into Kentucky, Ohio and Florida. Along with his parents, Mike was also preceded in death by his sister, Mary Angela, his brother, David Anthony, his eldest daughter, Mika Lynn, and his wife, Nancy Miller Keesee. He is survived by his daughter, Monica Bays and her husband, Jim, their children, Zack and Natalie, all of Alum Creek and his son, Kelly and wife Ellen, and children Shayna, Sarah and Kyle, all of St. Albans; his son, Gregory and wife, Vanessa, and children Gregory, Tyler, Lauren, Austin and Holly, all of Gaston, South Carolina; his sister, Dr. Barbara Yeager and her husband, Dr. Jack Yeager of Dunbar, his sister, Rebecca Rush and her husband, John of Charleston and his brother, Timothy and wife, Connie of Elkview. Mike will also be missed by his several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2007, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 525 Holley Street, St. Albans with Father Patrick McDonough as celebrant. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, 110 B Street, St. Albans with a Rosary Service beginning at 6:00 p.m.
