I was so saddened when my Christmas card to Michael was returned with "Passed away" on it. I served with him in the Army. We both worked in the E.R. in Heidelberg, W. Germany. I always respected him and his professionalism. My friend Jennifer and I have so many fond memories of him. You get pretty close in these circumstances. One of my oldest friends. May he be rewarded for his great service wherever he may be.

I enjoyed playing sports against you. I believe you were a good guy and a credit to Riddle.

Today I learned that Dr. Markham passed away nearly 8 years ago. I mentioned to my physical therapist that he had done my back surgery and that he had changed my life. I am so sorry for your loss and will always remember how safe I felt in his hands. Rest in God's peace.

I fell and fractured my neck in1996. Dr.Markham was my surgeon and removed a disc and a half in my neck to help with pain and movement. I didn't think anything would help to correct the situation, but his surgery did the trick. I am grateful to him and I hope I let him know! I was staying at my mom's while I was healing and asked my mom to call Dr. Markham after the third day of recovery because I was still in pain. He told mom to tell me that it is a slow process and I will see a significant difference in time, he was right, he also told my mom to tell me that I was no spring chicken (we both got a laugh out of that, I had just turned 44). I was shocked3gr and saddened to hear of Dr Markham's death. Rest in peace.
