William Thomas Markham Jr.

William T Markham Jr. (PeeWee) age 71 of Charleston, departed this life on Saturday, March 28th 2009 and is now sitting and rejoicing at the feet of Jesus and celebrating his debut in the heavenly choir. PeeWee was born March 12, 1938 in Kanawha County WV to the late William T. Sr. and Edna Christine Markham. He was a retired Captain of the Kanawha County Sheriff Department with 31 years of service. PeeWee was also a loving and exuberant member of Living Faith Church in Marmet. He loved gospel music and used his gift in that capacity to serve and praise the Lord. He is survived by his loving wife Beverley A. Markham, his two sons Thomas Edward Markham (Michelle) of FL, and Bryan Scott Markham (Traci) of Winfield. Grandchildren, Christopher, Zackary, Kenna and Brian, aunt Barbara Jean Campbell and uncle Paul Hayes Matheny and countless friends and family. A celebration of PeeWee’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at Living Faith Church, Marmet with Pastor Frank Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Valley Memory Gardens, Glasgow. Friends and Family will gather two hours prior to the service on Wednesday.
