Roberts, Clarissa E. ("Jill")Clarissa E. ("Jill") Roberts, born Nov. 25, 1921, went to be with the Lord June 26, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. (Jack) Roberts, seven siblings and one grandson, Daniel. She is survived by brother Richard Eden and his wife Jo Anne, children Todd and Denise Roberts, Brad and Deia Roberts, Leslie and Roger King and Janie Ellis, twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was loved by many and established a Godly family in Dallas. A classy lady, she had a great love of music and a strong, courageous faith that she has left as a legacy to her family. Visitation will be Monday, June 29, 5-8 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home, 9220 Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243. The memorial service will be Tuesday, June 30, at 4 p.m. at Ellis Chapel in Park Cities Baptist Church, 3933 Northwest Parkway, Dallas, TX 75225. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dallas Theological Seminary, www.dts.edu, 3909 Swiss Ave, Dallas, TX 75204.

Jill was one of those angels that God puts in your life at various times. A person who supported me in various ways over the years since my college days and offered undivided attention and advise during difficult times. No doubt that God used her this way in many peoples lives. Always full of wisdom and a peculiar way of adding humor to a bad situation. Black and white about the truth and what she thought was right. She will be forever missed until we meet again in heaven. May God give all of her family the strength to navigate through her departure.
