Robin Annette Ferrell Curry

Robin Annette Ferrell Curry, 45, of Port Pierce, Florida, formerly of Charleston, West Virginia, departed this life for a better one on Thursday, July 30, 2009, after an extended illness. She graduated from DuPont High School, Belle, West Virginia, where she was a member of the Bellaires, All-County and All-State Choruses, was an accounting major at West Virginia State College and a past Strawberry Festival Princess in Buckhannon, West Virginia. Robin was a former employee of K-Mart and a 13-year employee of Fort Pierce 911 Emergency Services. She was a part time volunteer for the AMVETS. Robin was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt and loving friend to so many. She leaves behind her precious daughters, Ashley Nicole and Amber Michele Curry of Fort Pierce; mother and step-father, Carol and Wayne Blake of Charleston, West Virignia; father and step-mother, Harold and Linda Ferrell, of Charleston, West Virginia; sisters, Stephanie Ferrell of Charleston, West Virginia, Erica Crockett of Dunbar, West Virginia, and Shelly Fannin of Wheelersburg, Ohio; brothers, Thomas Snead of Las Vegas, Nevada, and James Blake of Charleston, West Virignia. She had three nephews, six nieces, and many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her very much. Robin was a stranger to no one. The funeral services will be held Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden with the Rev. Mike Long officiating. The burial will follow the service in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. Her family and friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday, August 6, 2009, at the funeral home.
