Thalia Cooper Bradley, 84 of Orlando, went home to the Lord on September 1, 2009. She was born March 10, 1925 in Sago, VA to Ord and Della Cooper. She worked for the Florida Fruit & Vegetable Association for over 20 years. After retiring there she worked for Curley and Penn and also for Worldwide Automation. Thalia was a life-long member of North Park Baptist Church where she was very involved with the church and youth programs. She was also a member of the Annie Coleman Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. She is preceded in death by her husband William Winston Bradley and her son Barry D. Bradley. She is survived by her son John Winston Bradley; daughter Traci Bradley Gouveia; grandchildren Jason Winston Bradley of Russellville, AR and Isabella Goguen Gouveia; great granddaughter Alyssa Nicole Bradley of Russellville, AR; niece Jane Walker of Reidsville, NC; and numerous family members in Caswell County, NC and Franklin County, VA. Services will be held Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 1PM at the Baldwin Fairchild Lake Ivanhoe Chapel with interment following at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the North Park Baptist Church Building Fund, 2047 Prospect Ave Orlando, FL 32814. Her friends “old and new� and former colleagues will remember her for her sense of humor and kindness. Her family adored her and will treasure her legacy for generations to come.
