Zack and Katie Eide Obituary

Published by J. Warren Funeral Services Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel on Dec. 22, 2009.
Kathryn Eide Kathryn Ellen Nicole “Katie Eide, 16, of Casa Grande died along with her brother Mark on Dec. 22, 2009 in Casa Grande of injuries sustained in a vehicular crash. The celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Villago Park. Katie was born on Jan. 2, 1993 in Casa Grande. She was a high school student and loved life to the fullest. Although many things did not come naturally to her, she worked hard to master the things she cared about, including volleyball and academics. She loved her family, and her brothers were her best friends. Her compassion for animals led her to be a vegetarian for three years, even though she loved meat. She was stronger than many people gave her credit for. Survivors include her parents, Mark E. and Sandie D. Eide of Casa Grande; a brother, Matthew Eide of Tucson; and grandparents, John Eide of Casa Grande and Ed and Janice Craig of Sedro-Woolley, Wash. She was preceded in death by grandmothers, Ellen Eide and Kathryn Craig. Donations may be made to the Eide Trust Scholarship Fund at Chase Bank, account No. 2910365549, or online at eidefamily.homestead.com. J.
