IRON MOUNTAIN - Audrey Mae Williams, 81, of Washington Court in Iron Mountain, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2009, at ManorCare Health Services in Kingsford. Audrey was born Nov. 10, 1927, in Kingsford, the daughter of the late Reginald "Barney" and Rose (Holiday) Egan. Audrey married Miles Williams on May 31, 1946, at the Kingsford Courthouse and the couple moved to Indiana before returning to Iron Mountain to make it their home. Miles preceded her in death in 1980. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church ELCA and spent her time with close friends and family. She enjoyed the excitement at the casinos with her friends and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Audrey is survived by her children, Robin Williams, Jerome Williams, Patricia Johnson (Wayne Loar), Aleta (Tim) Holmes, Sonya Williams (Jeff Goudreau), Joshua (Candy) Williams and Tasha (Brian) DeBernardi; her grandchildren, Noah Williams (Ashley Tuck), Jacob Williams (Melissa Fascio), Samantha Williams, Sara Sperka, Sadie Sperka, Brandon Johnson, Taylor Loar, Kayla Loar, Lincoln Quick, Jada Goudreau, Myles Williams, Tara Williams, Ashley Williams, Lindsey DeBernardi and Dallas DeBernardi; great-grandchildren, Dustin Williams, Amelia Sperka, Sari Sperka and Ty Johnson; and sisters, Colleen (Bill) Hunt and Patricia "Patsy" Bill Bottger. She was preceded in death by her son, Jason Williams; her grandson, Tony Debernardi; and her sister, Elaine Rice. Visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow Thursday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. James Chinery will officiate. Burial will be in Iron Mountain Cemetery Park. Pallbearers will be Brian DeBernardi, Jeff Goudreau, Wayne Loar, Noah Williams, Jacob Williams, Lincoln Quick and Brandon Johnson Condolences may be expressed to the family of Audrey Williams online at www.ernashfuneralhomes.com The family has entrusted the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain with the arrangements.
