Eli G. Sutherland

IRON MOUNTAIN -Eli G. "Joe" Sutherland, 87, of Upper Pine Creek, died Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at ManorCare Health Services in Kingsford. He was born on June 9, 192,1 in Iron Mountain, the son of the late Simpson and Esther (Norgran) Sutherland. Joe was a farmer in Upper Pine Creek for many years and he had worked at Khoury's. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing baseball and attending auctions. He is survived by his brother, Al Sutherland of Upper Pine Creek; his sister, Marge Neilson of Racine, Wis.; many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 11a.m. at Tondin-Ross and Freeman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home on Tuesday. Rev.
