Larry James Howell

Larry J. Howell, 63, of Bowling Green died Thursday, April 1, 2010, at his home. Born in West Virginia, he was an Army veteran and worked for many years for Southland, which is now McLane. Survivors include his wife, Patsy Howell; his children, Christina Murchison of North Carolina, Michael Howell of Oklahoma and twins, Larry and Denise Howell of Bowling Green; his step children, William Hayes,Jennifer Griffin, Gracie MacCord, Melissa Burrows and William H. Burrows III; a brother, Kenneth Roy Howell and a sister, Linda Bowling, both of Ruther Glen; granchildren, Leah, Joseph, Chelsea, David, Pam, Cheyenne, Hannah, Jayden, Tommy and Trevor and a very devoted friend, Ruby Midgett. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Howell and two brothers, Claude Howell and Wayne Howell. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 6th at 2:00 PM in Storke Fuenral Home, Bowling Green, with burial to follow in the Haynes-Hockaday Cemetery in Marye. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Monday 7:00-9:00 PM.
