Thomas H. Benda

Thomas H. Benda, age 79 of Paron, Arkansas died Sunday, May 23, 2010 at his home. He was born on March 4, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois to his late parents Harry Benda and Violet Marshall. Thomas was a commercial photographer for over 60 years, a part of Fellowship Bible Church (Benton Campus) and a Veteran of the United States Air Force having served in the Korean War. In addition, he enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, was a devoted father and was a wonderful husband. Survivors include his wife of 56 years Nancy Benda; two sons, Jeffrey Benda (Donna) of Paron, AR and Scott Benda (Lydia) of West Dundee, Illinois; one sister, Barbara Cable of Freeport, Illinois and five grandchildren, Kathryn, Tyler, Cami, Luke and Lindsey. He is preceded in death by his parents. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be on Thursday, May 27, 2010 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, Arkansas (501)-455-1037.
