Russell J. O’Brien, Jr. Greenville, SC Russell James O’Brien, Jr., age 37, of Greenville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 11, 2010. He was a native of Baton Rouge and an alumnus of Belaire High School. Russ was a devoted father, loving husband, affectionate son, charismatic friend, and a passionate musician who loved life to the fullest. We will remember him for his smiles and joy. He is survived by his wife, Michelle O’Brien and infant son, Coleman James O’Brien, of the home; his mother, Debra Hotard-Irvine and husband, Lowe of Baton Rouge, LA; his maternal grandparents, Warren and Marie Hotard and numerous other family members and friends. Services will be 2:00pm Friday, July 16, 2010 at The Mackey Mortuary with the Rev. Dr. Nick Ballew officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30pm until the service at the mortuary. Burial will be private.
