Joseph Robert “Joe-Bob” Sayers, 40, of Niles passed away peacefully at 7:20 AM Wednesday March 30, 2011 following a short battle with adenocarcinoma. He was born June 5, 1970 in Farrell, PA the son of Vaughn and Lucille (Fraley) Sayers. A lifetime Trumbull County resident, Joe was a 1990 graduate of Lakeview High School. He was the owner-operator on Caesar’s Italian Restaurant in Warren-a family business founded by his parents in 1976. Joe-Bob liked to shoot pool and play darts with his buddies at the Summit Lounge but most of all he loved his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He enjoyed many Sunday afternoon rides on his Harley with his companion Lisa Priddy of Warren. He also liked playing golf, swimming, and bowling. He will be sadly missed by his parents Vaughn and Lucille of Cortland, 5 children, T.J. (Jessica) White of North Carolina, Josh White of Texas, Brittany Sayers of Warren, Skylar Sayers of Niles, Emma Lockhart of Lima, and 2 sisters Laurie Sayers of Cortland and Coral Sayers of Warren. He also leaves 4 grandchildren, Parker and Preston White of Warren, Paisleigh White of North Carolina, Aydin White of Howland, 2 nephews Robert Cavaliere, Augusta Sayers, a niece Gianna Sayers, and great nephew Conner Cavaliere. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Edward and Donna Sayers, maternal grandparents Robert and Ann Fraley, and by a cousin Bradford Fraley. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday April 2, 2011 at Roberts-Clark Chapel where friends will be received from 5-8 Friday and for 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday. Cremation will follow.
