I met Johnny at a dance place in bachsprings . Was performing and I was on the dance floor doing my Elvis dancing. I went knock on Johnny's break room and he said I saw you you imitating Elvis and almost called you to come on stage. He put an autograph scarfe on me. He was so pleasant and very nice. Something made me think of him after about 35 or 40 years ago. He will always be remembered.

Wow, 14 years have almost passed. Many of us are retired or gone. Johnny and I had a chance to do a show together in Milwaukee, but our schedules didn't work out. Many "ETA's" who never knew Elvis before 1977, or saw him when he was around, are traveling a path Johnny Travelled Many Decades Before. God Bless you and your family.

I moved to las vegas in 1988 from Denver, I started hanging out at the Gold Coast casino where Johnny Harra and his wife played, they were pretty much like the house band ,his wife would come on first and do her thing then she would introduce johnny , I went so much to watch them that I finally met them ,I was a huge Elvis fan, as soon as Johnny found out I was a Electrician he had things for me to do at his in house,I remember the first time I called him and he answered the phone,I swore I was talking to Elvis ,I did electrical work for him,but the best part was everytime I was at his show ,he always announced to the crowd that I was his personal electrician ,we became friends, his wife Carla was also very talented . RIP My Friend
