Robert Lincoln Eddy, age 90, of Centerville, Iowa passed away Tuesday, June 02, 2009 at Centerville Nursing and Rehab. Bob was born January 17, 1919, the son of Clyde and Etta (Sebolt) Eddy in Exline, Iowa. He graduated from Exline. Bob married Berta Lee Knott on May 16, 1942 in Unionville, Missouri. He worked for the Local Ford Dealership as a mechanic for thirty-one years. Bob enjoyed spending time on the farm and with his family. He was a member of the Zoar Church, American Angus Association, 4-H Extension, Council and Farm Bureau. Bob is survived by his wife; three children, Ron (Cathy) Eddy of Moulton, Iowa, Sandra Kay (Dan) Kadel of Centennial, Colorado, and Rhonda (Rick) Raskie of Exline, Iowa; ten grandchildren, Tamara Serraro of Mesa, Arizonia, Mike Kadel of Parker, Colorado, Lisa Shelby of Centennial, Colorado, Darrin Kadel of Parker, Colorado, Robert Raskie of Centerville, Iowa, Rendy Raskie of Exline, Iowa, Randall Raskie of Centerville, Iowa, Cabrin Weaver of Columbia, Missouri, Justice Weaver of Des Moines, Iowa and Drennen Eddy of Moulton, Iowa; and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Eva Traxler, Mary Mikels, and Verte Syndergaard; and a brother, Chester Eddy. Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, June 6, 2009 at the Lange Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Pastor Jim Schweitzer officiating. Burial will follow at Zoar Cemetery in Exline, Iowa. A visitation will be held Friday at the funeral home with family present from 6-8 PM. A memorial has been established to the Zoar Church or Hospice of Central Iowa and may be left at or mailed to the Lange Funeral Home 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa 52544.
