Mr. William J. "Bill" Farrell Jr.

William J. Farrell Jr. "Bill", 54, of Prospect Park, passed away on April 29, 2011 at Temple Hospital. He was born January 18, 1957 in Philadelphia the son of William J. Farrell Sr. and Anita (nee Barth) Farrell. Bill was a devoted family man who enjoyed sailing, movies, history, science, sparring and the Poconos and the Outer Banks. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and loved to make people laugh. In addition to his parents he is also survived by his wife Mary (nee Buckley) Farrell; his son Daniel Farrell; two daughters Kathleen Farrell and Megan Farrell; his siblings Maureen, Patti, Karen, Mikie (Bill), Kathie, Anita (Jim) and Tim; also survived by his many nieces and nephews and his dog Ty. Relatives and friends are invited to his Calling Period Wednesday evening from 5-7pm at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home 301 Chester Pike, Norwood. Interment private.
