Kyle Gregory Sorensen 1962 ~ 2011 Kyle Gregory Sorensen, 49, of Orem passed on May 1, 2011 at Timpanogos Regional Medical Center in Orem. He was born April 8, 1962 in Provo; to Robert C. and Kay Baum Sorensen. He spent his early years and was educated in Orem and graduated from Orem High School. He served in the Army for 8 years in Texas and Germany. With his first marriage to Linda he had the honor of having two handsome sons and a beautiful daughter. He then married Stacy and had two beautiful daughters and had three beautiful daughters with his companion Xochitle. He worked at Geneva Steel until 1993 and excelled as a landscaper. He enjoyed collecting antiques, working in the yard and drinking Pepsi. Above all he loved his children more than life itself. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is survived by his children: Kyle Greg (Brooke) Sorensen of Pleasant Grove, Lindsay (Corey) Beckstrom of Orem, Liz and Angie Sorensen of Santaquin, Isabel and Abbie Sorensen of Orem, Emily of St. George; 5 grandchildren; his parents of Orem; sister: Teri (Bret) Davis of Orem; brother: Todd (Lainie) Sorensen of Payson; sister: Dana (Rick) Coates of Orem; sister: Keni (Jarrod) Butler of Pinedale, Wyoming and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He was recently preceded in death by his son Jonathon Robert Sorensen and his grandparents. Graveside services with military honors will be at the Orem City Cemetery on Friday May 6, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit with the family at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 E. 800 North in Orem, Friday from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.
