James F. Mcguire

NARROWS James F. McGuire, 83 of Narrows, VA Saturday, June 12, 2010 at home. He was born in Pembroke on January 25, 1927 and was the son of the late Frank Lee and Carrie Morgan McGuire. In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by a son, Larry (Eddie) McGuire. He was a retired employee of Chemical Lime Company in Ripplemead, VA and was a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by a son, Fred McGuire and wife Bonnie of Linwood, NC; a daughter, Darlene Hedrick of Lexington, NC; daughter in law Donna McGuire of Lexington, NC; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren and many friends and neighbors that showed kindness over the years. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Riffe's Funeral Service in Narrows with Reverend Jim Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg with graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 6000 and American Legion Post 68 of Narrows.
