James C. "JC, Jay" DeBusk

James C. "JC, Jay" DeBusk Chilhowie, Va. James C. "JC, Jay" DeBusk, 84, passed away Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011 in the Valley Health Care Center in Chilhowie. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Germany in WWII. He had worked for Brunswick Corporation in Marion for 35 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Thomas DeBusk; his parents, Lillian Elizabeth and James Edward DeBusk; and one brother, Odell DeBusk. Survivors include his daughter, Dora Jean Stewart and husband Woody; three grandchildren, Leigh Ellen Gusler (Jason McClelland), B.J. Jackson, Jr., and Becky Leonard (Mike Amady); four great grandchildren, Dylan, Taylor, Shane Gusler, and Zack Leonard (Kelly Webb). Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM, Monday, Nov. 28 at Williams Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM, Sunday, Nov. 27 at Williams Funeral Home. The family would like to thank the Valley Health Care Staff for all of their loving care.
