Mr. Tommy Lee Cooper Jr.

In Memory of Tommy Lee Cooper, Jr. November 29, 1962 – February 18, 2012 Tommy Lee Cooper, Jr. left this world as we know it to be with our heavenly father on Saturday, February 18, 2012 in Pasadena, Texas after many months fighting cancer. He was born November 29, 1962 in Pasadena, Texas to Tommy and Gayle Cooper. He attended Sam Rayburn High School here in Pasadena and then went on to Sam Houston State College in Huntsville, Texas. After college he went into the construction/scaffolding business as a superintendent. Tommy loved life, enjoyed football, hunting, fishing, playing golf, and especially loved taking his sons riding on the tractor up at his Papa's farm in Madisonville. He always had a smile or joke for everyone he met for he was a kind hearted soul. Tommy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. D. V. and Faye McNair; and paternal grandparents, Mr. Maurice Cooper and Madelene Boswell and her belated husband Charlie, his uncles, Donald McNair and Leo Hanks. He is survived by his mother, Gayle McNair Cooper; his father, Tommy Lee Cooper, Sr. and wife Janet; his two sons, Tommy Joe Cooper Ciranni and Michael Anthony Cooper Ciranni; sisters, Kathy Taylor, her husband Dan and their family; Karen Smith, her husband Philip and their family, uncle and Aunt Jerry and Donna Cooper cousins, Sheree McNair Allen , her husband Rick and son Dylan; Charlie McNair and his children Garrett and Emma; Derhonda Cooper Stiles, her husband Kent and their family; Jeree Cooper Rogers , her husband Chris and their children; Patricia (Little Pat)Hanks; Bubba Hanks and family; LaJena Hanks; Mark Hanks and Corey Hanks, plus many other relatives, kind neighbors and friends. His legacy, along with his smiles and jokes will live on in us all, for Tommy's presence will surely be missed. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4PM Friday March 2, 2012 at Pasadena Funeral Chapel with a memorial service at 4 pm with Pastor Chuck Lightfoot officiating..
