Dennis J. O'Connell Jr.

Dennis J. O’Connell Jr., 42, of Sebastopol CA, formerly of Windsor CT, passed away unexpectedly Thursday September 8, 2005 after a short acute illness. Born in Hartford CT, he attended St. Gabriel School, Northwest Catholic, and Windsor High School. After completing high school, Dennis went on to college, graduating from the University of Hartford with Bachelor degrees in Physics and Electrical Engineering. After his education he moved to CA where he owned and operated a Bio-Diesel Company for several years, along with his own small Computer business as well. He leaves his mother Rose Mary (Larkin) O’Connell of Windsor; two brothers, John O’Connell and his companion Jacqueline Henderson of Manchester CT, and Thomas O’Connell and his wife Lori Rembetski of New London CT; a sister, Rosemary O’Connell and her partner Allan Plum of Burlington VT; many extended family members; and his close friend Jess Dur of CA. He was predeceased by his father Dennis J. O’Connell. Calling hours will be held Friday September 16 from 5-9 pm at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home 807 Bloomfield Ave. Windsor. Funeral services will begin Saturday September 17 at 9:15 am from the funeral home followed by a mass at 10:00 am at St. Gabriel Church Broad St. Windsor. Burial will be private.
