Mr. Joaquin Arce

Arce Joaquin Arce, age 84, of 5 Garden Court, Lancaster, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at his residence. Born in Lares, PR, he was the son of the late Miguel Arce and Guadalupe Frankie Arce. He and his wife, Aurea E Rivera Arce, celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary in January 2012. Prior to moving to Lancaster, Joaquin was employed by a factory n Chicago, IL. In addition to his wife, two sons Orlando Arce; Hiram Arce husband of Sonia, a daughter Silvia Suarez, all of Lancaster; a brother Gilberto Arce, husband of Lucy, of PR; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren survive him. Six brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Joaquin's Life Celebration Funeral Service at the Funeral Home of Fred F. Groff, Inc., 234 W. Orange St., Lancaster, PA, on Friday at 10:30 AM with Rev. Abimmel Montanez and Rev. Manuel Roman officiating. Interment will be in Mellinger's Mennonite Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 7-9 PM and on Friday from 9:30 AM until time of service.
