Mr. Charles Edmond Vose

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of May 1, 2012, Charles Edmond Vose, 79, of Johns Island, SC, husband of Irma Meagher Vose. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Vose are invited to attend his graveside service on Friday, May 4, 2012 in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, Mount Pleasant, SC on Friday, May 4, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Charles was born on May 21, 1932 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Mattie Smalls Vose and Carsten William Vose. After serving in the United States Army, he worked as a pipefitter with the Charleston Naval Shipyard. He later worked at the Charleston Naval Hospital and was a member of the Pipefitters Local 470 for 25 years. He is survived by his wife Irma Vose of Johns Island, SC, a son Charles Edmond Vose, Jr. and granddaughter Alexandria Nicole Vose also of Johns Island, and a sister Pearl Dordal of Goose Creek, SC. Flowers will be accepted.
