Marty Dudley

Princeton - Lionel Marty Dudley, II, 37, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at UNC Hospital surrounded by his family. Marty was born in Wayne County on February 2, 1974 to Lionel Martin Dudley and Joyce Ann Braswell Dudley. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at Rosewood High School with Rev. Thomas McClendon and Rev. Dwayne Batten officiating. The interment will follow at Princeton Cemetery. Marty is survived by his wife, Kimberly W. Dudley; his daughters, Alexis Dudley and Cory Smith, both from Princeton; his brother, Neil Dudley and wife Patricia of Goldsboro; his sister, Joy Dudley of Princeton; his nieces, Lauren and Kayla Dudley; and a special friend, Del Lockamy from Grantham. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Oakland Fire Department at 674 Oakland Church Road, Princeton, NC 275569 or Rosewood Church of God at 100 Tower Lane, Goldsboro, NC 27530. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Rosewood High School.
