Timothy Jay Grigg

Goldsboro - Timothy Jay Grigg, 54, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. Tim was born in Guilford County on March 11, 1958 to the late James B. Grigg and Patricia Hudgins Grigg. He was a retired drywall contractor. Tim was a man that enjoyed the simple pleasures in life such as fishing, cooking and spending time with his best friend, Whitey, a yellow Labrador retriever. The family will greet friends Tuesday, July 17, 2012 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service celebrating Tim's life at 7:30 p.m. Tim is survived by his sister, Shannon Grigg Buchanan and husband, Steve of Goldsboro; his step-sister, Jolie Billings of Amarillo, TX; his nephews and niece, Michael Davis, Dustin Buchanan and Alex Buchanan. In lieu flowers memorials may be given in Tim's memory to the Wayne County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 821, Goldsboro, NC 27533.
