Donald R. Odom Dec. 21, 1931 ~ April 1, 2009 MOUNT OLIVE -- Donald Ralph "Teenie Bill" Odom, 77, of 3415 N. C. Highway 55 West, died Wednesday evening, April 1, 2009, at Wake Med in Raleigh. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home with the Rev. Moses Darden and the Rev. Leland Heath officiating. Entombment will be in the mausoleum at Wayne Memorial Park. "Teenie Bill" was a member of Brownings United Methodist Church and was a life-long resident of the Smith Chape/Dobbersville area. He was the son of the late F. L. "Bill" and Lela Best Odom. He is survived by a daughter, Melody Odom Weaver of Mount Olive; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Bea Odom of Mount Olive; and a granddaughter, Mary Michael Weaver of Mount Olive. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night, April 3, from 7 until 9 p.m. and at the residence at other times. Flowers are welcome, or memorial gifts may be made to Brownings Methodist Church or to the House of Prayer.
