Lester B. Barlow

Lester B. Barlow, 74 of Shumansville died Tuesday August 14, 2012 in Mary Washington Hospital. He was a lifelong member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church and had retired from Great Dane Tractor Trailer in Richmond. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Joyce M. Barlow; four step-children, Debra Ellkie, William Kidd, Brenda Roepoecki and Ray Kidd; his sister, Juanita Nicholson; his brother, Edward Barlow; seventeen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Friday August 17th at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green, with burial to follow in Mt. Hermon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bowling Green Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 621, Bowling Green, VA 22427.
