Fred Lauper, age 96, of Barstow Ca, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2012. He was born on October 6, 1916 in St. Paul, MN to his parents Ernest and Bertha. Fred was the youngest of five children. He married his wife Emily in Seattle, WA on May 10, 1949. They had 3 children. He served in the Navy for four years. He lived in Barstow for 12 years and was employed by theYermo Inspection Station during that time. Fred was a member of American Legion Post # 751, Newberry Springs. Fred will be remembered by his loving children, Sharon Lauper, Mike Lauper, Valerie, (Bob) Nelson, grandchildren, Erik & Shari Nelson, Brian & Stacy Nelson, and Andrew Bloodworth. He is predeceased in death by his wife Emily.
