Mary Camp Obituary

Published by Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery on Jan. 22, 2013.
CAMP, MARY JANE was born May 8, 1924 in Rochester, New York to Emmeroy and John Weaver, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2013. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arthur Camp and is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Ron Sum of Rowlett, Texas, sister, Jean Cook, of Cincinnati, Ohio, granddaughter, Elaine Ealy of Whitewright, Texas, grandson, Marc Ealy, of Richardson, Texas, great granddaughter, Grace Butwell of Whitewright, Texas, stepchildren, Terry Camp of Johnstown, Colorado and Karen Ciurca of Rochester, New York. Mary Jane was a member of the Lake Highlands United Methodist Church and the Mary Martha Class. She was a long time member of the Dallas Organ Society. She retired from Mobil Oil Corp, having worked for 17 years in Mobil Pipeline's Purchasing Department. Upon retirement, she and Art enjoyed many wonderful trips throughout the US. Mary Jane fell in love with Texas upon moving here from upstate New York in 1962 and she always said that the stork made a mistake delivering her up north, but she arrived here as soon as she could. Family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 PM on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 12:30 PM on Monday, January 28, 2013 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
