John Anthony Revis
John Anthony Revis, 57, of Mills River, passed away on January 24, 2009.
He was a son of the late Ernest Retheal Revis and Amelia Morgan Revis. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Billy, Jimmy and George Revis and a granddaughter, Heather Gaddis.
He is survived by his loving wife of thirteen years, Wanda Bradley Revis of the home, four daughters: Amelia Gaddis and husband Johnny of Candler, Missy Holden and husband David of Mills River, Kim Robinson and husband Shannon of Etowah, and Brandy Barnes of Candler, two brothers: David and Jack Revis, three sisters: Marcheta Rose, Shelia McKinney and Marsha Revis, nine grandchildren, one great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
Anthony was an avid NASCAR enthusiast and an animal lover. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Memorial services will be held at Little Cove Baptist Church, Brevard on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at 7 PM with Rev. Raymond Brickhouse officiating. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall immediately following the service.
