Mr. Edward A. Kohut

Edward A. Kohut, age 58, of Broadview Heights, Ohio, loving husband of Julie A. Kohut (nee Lebon); beloved son of Catherine (nee Homzak) and the late Edward P. Kohut; dear brother of Cathy Kohut, Robert Kohut (Kathleen), Carol Grabiec (Tom), and Pam Brown (Tom, deceased); dear son-in-law of John and Nancy (nee Grimm) Lebon; dear brother-in-law of Joe Lebon, Jim Lebon, Jeanine Lebon, Janice Krusoczky (Joe), Joyce Sidley (Greg), Jeff Lebon, and the late John and Jerry Lebon; uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. Ed was a co-founder of Ditec, Inc., a Diagnostic Imaging Consulting Firm headquartered in Solon, Ohio. He was an avid sailor and loved cruising and working-on his sailboat. Ed was also a self-taught craftsman and could build or repair most anything that challenged him. He was loved by everyone and will long be remembered as a most caring, generous, helpful and humble man. He passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Summa Akron City Hospital following complications from injuries he sustained in a fall. Prayer service at the funeral home on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Basil The Great Catholic Church, 8700 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, Ohio 44141. The Rev. Walter H. Jenne, Pastor of St. Basil The Great Church, will officiate. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Northfield, Ohio.
