Mr Edward P. "Eddie" Fuchs

Edward "Eddie" P. Fuchs, 81 passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 14, 2013, from Alzheimer's disease. Service: 3 p.m. Saturday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association or a charity of choice. Edward was born near Waco on May 1, 1932, to Alma and Johnnie Fuchs. He graduated from Waco High School in 1950. He and Delores were married Dec. 22, 1951. After moving to Smithfield in 1957, he became a member of the Smithfield Volunteer Fire Department. Employed by the U.S. Postal Service, he retired in 1998. His fun-loving spirit and smile will be missed. Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Delores, in 2009. Survivors: Edward leaves behind many friends, neighbors, his sister, Rosalie, of Waco, nieces and nephews.
