Mr. Marvin G. Hauser

Marvin G. Hauser, age 75 of Landenberg, PA, formerly of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, May 22, 2013. As a graduate of Matawan High School, he enjoyed successful seasons with both their football and track teams. He furthered his education at Rutgers University graduating with a BS in Business and had a long and distinguished career as Director of Marketing. He served his country honorably in the U. S. Naval Air Force, where he was recommended for Officers Training. He is survived by his loving wife, Dora Hauser and four daughters and their husbands; Holly and Mark Gosser of Hockessin, DE, Marcy and Dan Shine of Middletown, DE, Dina and Tony Chavar of Pocono Lake, PA and Dori and Bill Smith of Wilmington, DE and his eight adored grandchildren; AJ Chavar, Daniel Shine, Kendal Smith, Casey Shine, Miranda Lemon, Danica Smith, Jayme Smith and Pete Gosser. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at the Chandler Funeral Home, 7230 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, where his family will greet friends beginning at 10:30 AM. Interment will be private at a later date.
