Roy Lee Worrell Jr.

Roy Lee Worrell, Jr., 75, of North Charleston, SC, husband of Jenny Marable Worrell passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013. The relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Roy Lee Worrell, Jr.'s Life in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 3:00 pm. The family will greet relatives and friends from 2:00 pm until the time of the service. Burial will be private. Mr. Worrell was born June 22, 1938 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Roy Lee Worrell, Sr. and the late Vashti Poston Worrell. A graduate of Bells High School, he was a US Navy veteran and retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard as an Outside Marine Machinist. He was an avid fan of wrestling and NASCAR. Above all else, he was a dedicated husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jenny M. Worrell; daughter, Brenda Anne Cash and her husband, Scot; and son, Michael Lee Worrell all of North Charleston, SC. He was preceded in death by his brother, John William Worrell.
