Thomas M. Egan

Thomas M. Egan, age 90, of West Chester, PA, passed away on November 16, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy D. Egan (nee Holland). Loving father of Betty McShea (Harry), Cathy Egan, Dot Schroeder (Bill), Tom (Diane), Bill (Maureen), Michael (Susan) and Rene Crawford (John). Dear brother of Harry Egan, Joan Coyle, and the late Mary Schlipf, Winifred Duross, Sr. Mary Campion, SSJ, William Egan, and Nancy Rigling. Also survived by 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Gertrude Dever and many nieces and nephews. He graduated from St. Thomas More Catholic Boys High School and attended Tufts College before enlisting in the US Navy where he served in the Pacific and on Okinawa in the "Seabees". During his career, he worked for Spatola Wines, Humanics, SS Simon & Jude Church and School, and Target Construction. He retired in 2003.
